DAY 1: CITY TOURS:

Beautiful tourist town, surrounded by three marine bays, a colonial past remains present in the architecture of white houses with colonnades, people who preserved the tradition and authenticity and breathtaking landscapes,

Tour: Anôsy Museum - Fort Dauphin bay - Libanona beach - Galion bay -  Market - Bevava beach - Sunset Vinanibe lake...

Anôsy Museum:

A thousand years of history told at the Fort Flacourt museum since the origins of the Antanôsy settlement. The reigning dynasty Zafiraminia (twelfth century) and its first contacts with Europeans including the 1502, the Dutch and the French are told through the peregrinations of the Sieur of the Compagnie des Indes orientales such as François CAUCHE (1638) Jacques PRONIS (1642), Etienne de Flacourt (1648) and the Count of MAUDAVE (1768) ... emblematic characters of the history of Anôsy.

The museum recounts the historical links with the island of Bourbon (current island of Reunion). It traces the exile of the 12 mutineers and first Malgaches settled on the island of which Louise TSIRIAGNA, Malagasy grandmother of the Reunion (1674). Also evokes the occupation Merina in 1825 led by the Governor RAMANANOLONA, cousin of King RADAMA 1st.

The past in the present: The museum offers you a journey through time and makes its history known to the current generation. Formerly a "halte" on the roads of the Indies, the Musée fort Flacourt would be a must-see for visitors. Located in the heart of the city, you will not be able to make the detour, come directly to appreciate our exhibitions and to discover the old vestiges in The walls of the museum.

DAY 2: NAHAMPOANA  RESERVE

The old botanical garden of Reserve de Nahampoana can be found seven kilometres north of Fort Dauphin.This well maintened garden formerly named garden acclimatization,cover an area of 50 hectares.Amongst the many exotic plants which can be found in the park are the ravenala palm ,pachypodium,oil palm,canela cinnamon,lemon eucalyptus,young baobab trees and the conifer Araukaria,as well as the triangle palm tree which exists in Madagascar only around the area of Fort Dauphin.Every lemur species native to the south of Madagascar lives in this park.During the early morning hours various group of lemurs ,such as Verreaux's sifaka ,ring-tailed lemur or brown lemur ,usually play in the trees and on the ground near the old colonial house.Other animals in the park include chameleons,tortoise,crocodiles and a wide variety of the bird.

DAY 3: EVATRA POINT AND LOKARO CREEK

Morning : Tour Evatra fishing village and lokaro bay

Idyllic ideal for swimming and diving,. Numerous islands including the Sainte Claire nearby. Discovery of carnivorous plants: THE NEPENTHES

Access:

By canoe or boat from Lake Lanirano through Aroyos (river channel) that penetrate the heart of aquatic vegetation made of pandanus, Ravinala and other lilies. The water stream, we find many species of birds and fishermen on their boat. The “Aroyos” lead Ambavarano the lake and can land near the fishing village. Evatra, then a walking tour of two hours can be achieved with a scenic trail along the coast, the bay Lokaro.

Afternoon : Tour by motor boat or pirogue on the channel more of the elephant ears plant ,Madagascar coucal (bird).

Then get back to Fort Dauphin.
