Zebus Market of AMBOVOMBE and MAROVATO

Every Monday and Saturday for Ambovobe Marovato, Tandroy zebu breeders alike on the market to sell, buy or exchange the sacred animal of Madagascar. This rural market, colorful, you can admire their authenticity, Tandroy proud breeders, but also their beautiful family zebu carts, kitchen utensils, local fabrics, all this makes the charm of this dry country on the other side of the chain Anosyenne.

FAUNA
In the sea, fauna is exceptional. Who has good chance can see humpback whales.
The huge sea turtles, manta rays, dolphins rivage. On the earth, there are two endemic protected turtles: the extremely rare “Pyxis” and the more common but alas too coveted for its meat and the illegal export “radiata” to abroad. Thorny bush is the playground of maki: lemur discovered catta. CAP SAINTE MARIE Special Reserve :

Beautiful high sandstone cliff caves and beaches offer a dreamscape at the southern tip of Madagascar. Between the waters of the Mozambique Channel and those of the Indian Ocean, Cape St. Mary’s windswept and offers the look of “end of the world.” From July to November it is possible to observe migrating whales Humpback and their calves. There are also the remains of Aepyornis eggs, the largest known bird that some associate with the bird rock legends of the sea SINBAD. Vegetation offers a wealth of plants such as baobab and flamboyant with their bottle-shaped trunks, thorny shrubs fabulous all forms representative of the extraordinary vegetation region SOUTH OF MADAGASCAR
This region is the land of turtles (radiata) endemic to the region.

AMBOLA
At 30 km is Beheloka. The white sandy beaches lined the lagoon whose barrier reef is at 150 m from the shore. If you are lucky you will be able to see the humpback whales swimming up through the channel, crossing sheets and moving above the rocks…
