Biodiversity

The protection of biodiversity is central to environmental conservation. Definitions vary, but generally, “Biodiversity is the richness of life on earth, thousands of animals, plants and microscopic organisms, their genes and the complex ecosystems they form.

” We have to consider the three levels of biodiversity:
– Genes: to take into account the variations between individuals in a population or among the same species with different geographical location.
– The species of bacteria to large predators through multicellular organisms of plants and fungi.
– The scale of the community to identify differences between species in the same community.
